Abstract

In an effort to address the increasing cases of sexual violence, the Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children recorded 4,906 cases of sexual violence, with 4,215 female victims and 1,033 male victims. In response to this situation, the government has passed Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS) as a strategic step in finding a solution to this problem. This study aims to analyze the various challenges faced in implementing the policy and propose solutions that can strengthen efforts to protect victims of sexual violence in Indonesia. The approach taken in this study is a literature review, which focuses on various sources such as journal articles, books, research reports, and news. The various challenges and solutions found in this study indicate that there is still room for improvement in the management of sexual violence cases.
