Abstract
Character education in early childhood has an important role in shaping positive social behavior and preventing bullying. This study aims to examine the role of teachers in shaping children's character to prevent bullying at RA At-Taqwa Jepara Kulon, Cilacap Regency. The approach used was qualitative with a case study, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that teachers at RA At-Taqwa act as role models, facilitators, and providers of reinforcement of character values through fun learning and social reflection. In addition, social emotional activities such as storytelling, playing together, and role play are integrated into learning to instill the values of empathy, tolerance, and cooperation. The implementation of a child-friendly school culture, such as 5S and a peace corner, also contributes to creating a safe environment and supporting bullying prevention. However, the challenges faced include differences in family backgrounds and limited parental support. This study suggests that teachers continue to develop character-based learning methods consistently and strengthen collaboration with parents and schools to create an environment that supports bullying prevention in schools.
